Assistant Principal Curry

Mr. Rashaan Curry

Rashaan Curry joins the Fremont team as an administrator after spending the last ten years at McClymonds High School. The last three as a Teacher on Special Assignment and as history teacher in the seven years prior to that.   Some of his duties included coaching teachers in induction, leading professional learning for the staff and coordinating testing.  

He received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University, in the city of New York, where he also played football.  He received his teaching credential from Cal State East Bay and most recently completed his master’s degree and administrator’s credential in the UC Berkeley Principal Leadership Institute. 

Rashaan is originally from Atlanta, GA and has been married for over 17 years to his wife, Ayana, and has a daughter, Alia (21), and two sons, Owen (13) and Wyatt (11).
